How to generate a Driving licence "Check Code" ?

The check code allows you to share your driving license information with employers, like a Transport for London when you apply for Private hire licence they need a licence check code in application form, and also you do need for other companies,  car hire companies,or others who need to check your driving record.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Visit the Official Government Website

Go to the UK government's View or Share your Driving Licence Information page.

Step 2: Log in Using Your Details

You’ll need:

Your driving license number (found on your driving license).

Your National Insurance number.

The postcode on your driving license.

Step 3: View Your Driving License Information

After logging in, you can view your driving license details, including:

The vehicles you can drive.

Any penalty points or disqualifications.

Step 4: Generate a Check Code

To share your driving license information, click on "Share your licence information."

You’ll be given a unique "Check Code" that you can share with whoever needs to check your driving record.

The check code is valid for 21 days and can only be used once.

Step 5: Provide the Check Code

Share this code along with the last 8 characters of your driving license number with the person or organization requesting it.

They can then go to the GOV.UK license checking service and enter the code to view your driving license information.
